This is not a romance by any stretch of the word. There is zero emotion involved except where instinct pushes five of these men to relentlessly and repeatedly use another.If there is a main character who is a more unwilling participant in his own life than Ray I would not care to meet him. Ray is an omega wolf shifter who clearly thought he should've been an alpha, beta at the very least. He wallows in anger and self-pity through both books, making everybody miserable including me. Because both books are from his point of view the reader never gets to see how his alphas view his predicament. His bad behavior and poor judgement almost costs him everything and I can only hope his attitude and circumstances improve from here.
Even with the nonexistent character development this story has 5-star potential. The editing is atrociously appalling. Missing words, misspelled words, wrong words, errant phrases, incomplete or nonsensical sentences, dangling participle, you name it, it's in here. Proofread, proofread, proofread! Beta readers, ARC readers, even a conversation with a friend who's read this would have been beneficial. I would love to revisit this after some significant changes, but in its current form, I cannot recommend either story.

This book was well written and had me wanting to scream along with Ray, there was just something missing. I don't know what it is but the story didn't seem quite finished.

I love to read about shifters and I'm so glad i found this author. Great read and highly recommended
this is just so wonderful and dark at the same time.. it has the same things that are skirting the edge of ok that the first book has.. but its kinda a normal one.. and its still good.. i enjoyed it a lot and cant wait to read the next one
Mmm when i start to read this story i thought that i would be exited but no I'm offended for what happened to Ray why would you put him to five Alphas i was hoping for him and Josh for what he went through by the time I finish reading this book i was crying i for Ray and Josh I'm not impress
There were a lot of writing mistakes that the reader can not ignore. I hope Ray can find a way to deal with his trauma because I think he could be happy with his five mates. I also think he's being to hard on Gabriel. Should be interesting to see where this goes.
This book isn't a warm and squishy love story. But it pulled me in and left me wanting more. I have been rooting for Ray from the very beginning. All his alphas want to do what's best for him, although he isn't sure what that may be. Being an omega doesn't give him much choice of what his life will be, but he is learning that his alphas are willing to let him determine what happens around him. If only he is brave enough to ask? Come follow Ray and his alphas, and see where their life leads them.
Sorry to say but this book was awful, I thought the first book was depressing but this was much worse. There's a disclaimer in the beginning of the book stating "non consensual sex" but there are no pretty words for rape. Not just a rape but 2 separate acts of rape. I'm returning this book to , buyer beware.
